简介： 80年代初，三个待业青年在闹市口摆了一个卖鱼档。为了赚钱，他们和其他个体户展开了不择手段的竞争。后在人们的热情帮助和引导下，他们终于懂得了如何通过正确的途径经商致富和怎样做人的道理。待业青年阿龙邀好友海仔和女友珠珠，在龙珠街头合伙开了一家以摩托车牌号命名的雅马哈鱼档。开张之日，生意兴隆。后来由于海仔好占小利，买卖中短斤缺两、以次充好的事时有发生，因而毁坏了鱼档的声誉，生意一落千丈，三个好友只好分道扬镳。海仔流落街头，干起骗人钱财的勾当。珠珠深爱阿龙，但被母亲逼着与一个澳门男人相亲。阿龙默默地踯躅街头，无所事事。这时，街道个体户协会负责人葵妹，邀请他加入自己的鱼档，阿龙发挥自己的一技之长，开着摩托车干得非常出色。通过与葵妹的接触，阿龙懂得了人的价值在于拼搏，在于奋斗。他找回潦倒的海仔，又与珠珠重归于好。在葵妹的建议下，两家鱼档合并联营，组成了一个新的联合实体。他们决心重新扬起生活的风帆，驶向理想的彼岸。
