简介： 本片讲述了小学生安建军在高老师的帮助下，刻苦练习，最终争取到亚运会开幕式表演资格的故事。1990年9月，北京某小学的学生们苦练团体操，为即将到来的亚运会开幕式表演做最后的冲刺。安建军和几名同学被刷下来，中队干部刘庆来也因特殊情况退出训练。新来的班主任高老师到安建军家家访，安慰因无法参加团体操表演而感到沮丧的安建军，俩人成为好朋友。建军将买亚运会彩票中奖的奖金捐献出来，引来记者采访，害羞的他不肯说出自己的名字，被刘庆来抢走了这份荣誉。受了委屈的建军在高老师的鼓励下，坚持每天刻苦练习，终于获得参加开幕式表演的最后一个名额。9月22日，亚运会开幕，建军和同学们精神抖擞地出现在团体操的表演场上。
